How has your environment growing up influenced your work and / or perspective?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. The history, energy, architecture, and landscape of the city has had a huge influence on my work.
What does “community“ mean to you?
A group of people or a network you resonate with. To be a part of something bigger than yourself. Having access to resources and like-minded people who all have a common interest or goal.
What fosters community in your life?
My friends who are artists and creatives. We all share similar interests and experiences so it's nice to be able to navigate the industry and our creative journey together.
What is your relationship with your creative outlet?
My relationship with my creative outlet is slow and steady. I like working on larger bodies of work and more long-term projects. I think social media’s demand for daily content turns me off. I want to be more prolific, but the work can’t be forced and I’m not going to shoot just to shoot.

I collect photo books and editioned publications. I’ve been sourcing from eBay and trying to search offline for inspiration.
How are you facilitating self-growth right now?
I think it's important to be reborn everyday, more polished, sophisticated, and interesting. Clearly defining my goals and taking conscientious steps to get there.
Who in your life advances your internal expansion?
